GAMES AND SPORTS

1. Mass Physical Training: On the view of mass participation in Physical exercise, mass physical training has been conducting in every Wednesday. All the students from classes I to XII are taking part in the MPT class.
2. Class-wise sports competition: The class-wise athletics and individual sports competition were conducted from classes I to XII. The winners received the prize  on Annual Sports Day. Hence all the students are  getting the chance to take part in the sports competition.
3. House-wise Games competition: Team and individual games competitions were conducted in house-wise. The games – Kho-kho(Boys & Girls), Volleyball (Boys & Girls), Kabaddi (Boys & Girls), Table Tennis(Boys & Girls)Badminton(Boys & Girls)chess (Boys & Girls)competitions were conducted.
4. Sports Competitions : Vidyalaya  students participated in the Cluster level Football competition, which was held on KV Happy Valley on 18-19 August,2010.Vidyalaya Kho-Kho(boys and Girls) team, Chess (boys and girls) team and Judo(boy) were participated in the KVS(GR) Regional Sports Meet. The Regional Sports Meet was held w.e.f. 23rd to 25th August 2011 at different venues- Kho-Kho  at KV Digaru, Chess at KV CRPF Amerigog and Judo at KV IOC Noonmati. Kho-Kho boys stood in 5th position , Bhawana Kumari of class XI under -19 year. Chess finalist and selected for KVS National Sports Meet 2011. Master Shubham  Kumar Singh of class – XII selected in Judo under -19 year for KVS National Sports Meet 2011
5. Master  Shuvam Kumar Singh , Class XII get gold medal in Judo in the KVS National Sports 2011 and selected for SGFI 2011
6. Miss Bhawana Kumari , Class XI got Silver medal in Chess in the KVS(GR) regional  Sports 2011 and participated in the KVS National Sports 2011

1. Periodic Medical Check Up:- The First phase Periodic Medical Check up was conducted during the month of  April 2011 under the senior medical officer NEHU Shillong. The second phase medical check up is under process and hence it will be completed during the month of November 2011
2. Health Day :- ‘World Health  Day ‘ conducted on 7th April 2011 . Programme of the Day-  a) Talk on ‘World health day’-2011 by student  (b) Speech by the Sr. Medical Officer , NEHU Shillong . (c) Speech by the principal (d) Neat and clean competition  (e) clean up works around the Vidyalaya surrounding  (f) Drawing competition on the theme-Healthy school or Healthy society.
3. The Adventure Sports :- activities , Vidyalaya Annual Sports Day , participation in KVS games and sports competition etc will be followed through the instruction and guidelines of the aythority.
4. Educational Excursion :- organized for the classes IX to XII , where the students visited at the Regional Science Khanapara , Guwahati on 2nd and 3rd august 2011.
